Maly’s Nam Van is a “rare find”, unlike any dessert experienced. It is a traditional, homemade Lao dessert our family grew up enjoying. Nostalgic, as we remember eagerly awaiting to indulge after mealtimes.

Nam meaning “water”, Van meaning “sweet.” It’s a “sweet water” dessert — consists of a coconut milk base with jellies, tapioca pearls (sagu) and tropical fruit toppings, mixed together for a refreshing, tasty summer treat. It is typically served cold over ice. Other variations of nam van can be made for the colder winter months, and served warm.

Maly’s Nam Van Dessert is 100% plant-based, dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free, with zero trans fat and no cholesterol. It is a sure party pleaser. The bright colors are eye catching, mouth-watering on a hot summer day. You’ll find it absolutely DELICIOUS. Welcome to our family.
